Nina Palombo PT, DPT, WCS
Nina is a Pelvic Health Specialist and a Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, who specializes in treating pelvic health conditions.
At Horizon Pelvic Health & Wellness, Nina blends orthopedics and specialty training in pelvic health therapy to address the "common but not optimal" pelvic floor conditions.
Common conditions that are improved with pelvic physical therapy treatment include: urinary or fecal incontinence, chronic constipation, pelvic pain, hip or low back pain, birth preparation, or changes due to pregnancy or postpartum.

Each appointment will be 1:1 with your therapist. Typical sessions are one hour and include a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and developing a home program to fit your needs.

Pelvic floor therapy is unique to each person. During your initial evaluation we'll discuss your goals and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
We ask that, at minimum, you plan for a comprehensive evaluation followed by at least 2-3 follow up appointments. However, for more complex issues, or more challenging goals you will likely benefit from more sessions.

An internal pelvic floor assessment gives valuable information but it may not be the best option for everyone. That's perfectly okay! Your therapist will discuss various options and create a personalized plan based on your preferences. We believe in informed consent, and you're always in charge of deciding what feels right for you.

We are an out-of-network provider, meaning that we do not contract with insurance companies. This allows us to offer high-quality and personalized care that is overall more holistic, comprehensive, and tailored to your needs-not based on insurance limitations.
Some insurance plans may reimburse for out-of-network services. We are happy to provide a Superbill if you are interested in submitting to your insurance company.

If you're curious about what coverage looks like, your insurance company can tell you both in-network and out-of-network rates. Believe it or not, some people actually end up paying more with in-network providers!
